About GDPR.Direct

Making privacy documentation easier without pretending that documents are the whole job

Our Mission

GDPR.Direct helps small teams turn verified facts about their processing into editable document drafts and a hosted public hub. The product makes the drafting and publishing work lighter while leaving legal classifications, technical controls, contracts, and approvals with accountable people.

What We Do

Guided Fact Collection

Describe the organisation, purposes, bases, providers, retention choices, and special-category context. Unknown or disputed facts remain review items.

Selective Legal Hub

Host the public drafts in one place, hide documents that are not ready, or embed an individual document after review.

Explicit Review Gates

Each output is a draft. Verify it against the live service and use qualified review for health data, high-risk processing, complex transfers, and contested bases.

Why This Matters

The GDPR applies to processing in the context of an EU establishment and, in defined circumstances, to organisations outside the EU that offer goods or services to people in the EU or monitor their behaviour there. Scope depends on Article 3 facts, not citizenship alone.

A useful documentation baseline connects these public statements to operating controls:

  • An accurate privacy notice linked at collection points
  • A verified inventory of cookies and other terminal access
  • Article 28 terms and transfer safeguards where applicable
  • Tested procedures for data-subject rights and incidents
  • Processing and risk records required by the organisation's context

GDPR.Direct helps with the document layer. Engineering, procurement, security, and specialist review remain part of the evidence.

Our Approach

Structured Drafts, Verified Output

Many notices share a structure, but the facts and risks differ. Our approach reuses the structure while making the tenant responsible for the substance:

  • Draft library structured around recurring GDPR topics
  • Guided questions for business-specific facts
  • Conditional health and special-category drafts
  • Human review after processing or legal changes
  • English and Spanish public drafts
  • Hosted Legal Hub for easy access
  • Visibility controls for unfinished documents
  • Plain explanations of product limits

Legal Notice

GDPR.Direct provides editable document drafts and publishing tools, not legal advice or a certification. A document cannot prove that the underlying processing is lawful, secure, minimal, or responsive to rights. Check every output against the live system and obtain qualified review where the context requires it.
